It may seem odd to first time users to have two ratings. After all, wouldn't one be enough? Well for some people it might be. However, we want to offer our members something more. The chance to have their search results ranked in a way that most suits their personal needs. How do they work? The Access Key Rating Everyone advertising accommodation on abletogo.com is asked to fill in a questionnaire giving details of the access and facilities in, and around, their premises. There are 10 questions about different facilities, each with a number of choices of answers. Each choice is given a score. The more accessible the facility, the higher the score given. An average of the scores for all facilities is then used to calculate a rating on a scale of 0 to 5 (with 5 being the most accessible). This rating is shown as a yellow key with a number in it.
The Best-Fit Rating Members of abletogo.com are asked to fill in a similar set of questions about their personal access needs. These answers are matched against those given for the accommodation in the region chosen. The closer the match, the higher the score. In this way, our members can specify their needs and we can bring them the accommodation that best fits them. This rating is shown as a percentage. A score of 100% is a perfect match. To avoid any misunderstandings, you should always check your access needs directly with your chosen accommodation before booking.
